everything is burning
the water's drying up
Nobody seems to even care
nobody gives a fuck.

everything is flooding
the water's coming up
If only we'd seen this coming
If only we gave a fuck.

We're Fucked

The beginning of the song focuses on the issues we are facing. Global Warming has been a constant threat for decades now and we are still not actively fighting the corporations and systems which keep us on our speedrun to the end of life as we know it.

The title of the song ANYPERCENT is a tongue-in-cheek jab at the way we are seemingly trying to take the fastest possible route to the end of life on Earth.

Any% runs in the video game speedrunning community is category that just focuses on getting to the end of the game no matter what.

The lyrics quickly change where the singer becomes upset that their efforts seemingly aren't enough, and even references buying bootstraps (to pull themself up by) on Amazon- ironically.

The song ends with an actual order that could be placed at Starbucks- showing that the singer is more focused on getting their verbose venti than actually doing anything to save the planet
